Plywood material is a board made of thin reinforced wood veneers glued with the fibers transversely one over the other with synthetic resins using strong pressure and heat. This technique notably improves the dimensional stability of the board, obtaining a solid wood appearance.
The most common presentation of this material is in boards of 4 × 8 feet, thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 36 mm in almost any type of wood, predominantly softwoods. There is a wide variety of plywood.
